Why we like... Mellipop
Mel, we know you quite frequently read this blog, and we quite frequently read yours too... this one's for you...

Reasons why we like Mellipop Number 1:
She is a fantastic writer. We actually strive to be able to write that fantastically. Unfortunately, we don't have the patience.. or the vocabulary. This rare ability is the usual indication that a book should be written, or maybe a film script... whatever takes your fancy.
Reasons why we like Mellipop Number 2:
Humour that strategically doesn't appear as humour.. but turns out it is! We like to call this intelligent humour. Mel, is the word for this wit?
Reasons why we like Mellipop Number 3:
This blog keeps us entertained for five minutes. Five minutes is all we really need. Anything longer than that and our attention usually goes elsewhere. Suzie said she would rather read a good blog than a book, so Mel has to be doing something right to win points for this one. As you can probably tell, we are often bored (it's a Friday night right now, and we're not at a pub... damn), and we love this Mel's blog for curing this boredom.
Reasons why we like Mellipop Number 4:
She writes comments on our blog! More than we can say for some of you other losers that we apparently call friends.

I think the fact that you've posted twice tonight to your blog is an indication that either you are sad lonely "almost spinsters" or that your 30 day challenge is starting to bight hard. I know there is no gain without pain, but surely two intelligent, witty, social being as yourselves should be out somewhere on a Friday night. Yes I know you went top the movies, but surely there was a pub nearby where some eyelid batting and but swaying could have conjoured up at least one free drink!
Leave the stay at home Friday's to the older, sadder members of the community (LIKE ME!!!)
Yes I know your post was on Mellipop and I have checked it out and do agree that's it's quite good, even makes a sad old bugger like me chuckle!

Aw shucks man.... I don't know shit about wit....
I'm just a smart-ass with sociology degree and a distinct lack of a social life. To illustrate - tonight is "Australia's Funniest Home Videos" night, where I drink my half share of two cheap bottles of wine at home and spend the entire next day whining about my sore head.
I am being called to the television by my partner literally as we speak. See what I give up for you guys!

Hey Mellipop...
Think that we'll go with the bipolar theory hehe. Nah, there are actually two of us. Suzie is the blonde on the left. Mop is obviously the other one. We both write on the blog. Sometimes, we write things individually, other times, we will write things together. However, we always write stuff that both of us agree on. For instance, Mop wrote about the Friday Night Movie, Suz wrote about the Shit Bananas... most of the "Mop and Suzie's Theory's" we write together!!! Any more questions? :P
PS Mop wrote this... Suzie is next to me sitting in the chair picking up spelling mistakes and wishing she was writing this (bloody control freak! hehe)
